Inner Join, Tree Index, Multiple cache nodes and vertical and horizontal partial caching
BANGALORE, India. – Lakshya Solutions Ltd. announced the release of CSQL Main Memory Database Cache. Lakshya is known for the database solutions and telecommunication software products. CSQL2.2, featuring the significant set of changes since 2.1, was released. Technical details of the new features are available in manuals on documentation page.
Prior to this release, CSQL supported only hash indexes. This version implements tree index with a fast ever-optimized parser to fasten the query execution. Sometimes applications want to cache only latest or certain records from large table in target database to speed up the acccess. In order to support that, partial caching is implemented where only a section of the records or fields can only be cached instead of whole table.
What is included in CSQL2.2 ?
- Inner Join support
- Tree Index
- Arithmetic Expression in update statement
- Multiple cache nodes
- Row Level and Field Level Partial Caching

Press Release Nov 14, 2008
BANGALORE, India - Lakshya Solutions, a unique provider of communication driven software product and database solution, today unveils about CSQL Cache, Main Memory Database Technology that speeds up not only MySQL database, but also PostgreSQL, a world’s most advanced open source database.
CSQL Main Memory Database is deployed in the middle-tier as a cache for Postgres Database in order to accelerate enterprise applications and improve the performance up to 20-40 times. When storing performance-critical data from Postgres to CSQL Main Memory Cache, application gets response time in microseconds by bringing the frequently accessed data closer to the application, and by executing SQL requests in the CSQL Main Memory Database Cache.
Furthermore, CSQL Cache delivers 100 times faster response time for cached tables as it uses fastest MMDB which is built using memory optimized algorithm and avoids network overhead for accessing cache tables.
By using CSQL Cache, industries such as telecommunication, healthcare, financial services, ticketing and reservation systems, e-commerce applications, online gaming, and software as a service (SAS) application platforms where Postgres is considerably famous and used by hundreds of companies can significantly scale without additional hardware.

BANGALORE, India – Lakshya Solutions CSQL development team today released CSQL-64 bit version of its CSQL Main Memory Database Cache for real-time enterprise systems and is available on Linux(x86_64) and Solaris(Sparc64).
This release supports databases that are hundreds of times larger than the 32-bit version, providing a powerful new tool in the areas such as Internet commerce, event-driven planning, financial trading and risk analysis, and intelligent networking are prime examples of applications that demand real-time performance.
One of the most attractive features of 64-bit is the amount of memory the system can support. It will allow systems to address well over 1 terabyte of memory. CSQL having memory centric architecture, can be streamlined to remove unnecessary processing overhead and thereby performing on average of 20-30 times faster than conventional databases.
CSQL also supports advanced database features such as row-level locking, multi-threaded applications, automatic recovery, and full support for the ACID properties.
